- • Participating Castro District businesses will be donating a percentage of proceeds to the Paint the Castro Red Coalition--look for the red AIDS ribbon lights in the windows of participating businesses.
• Free HIV Testing at Magnet (4122 18th Street) from 11am-6pm, Alliance Health Project (501 Castro) from 1:30pm-4:30pm, and Mom's Pharmacy (4071 18th Street) from 6pm-11pm.
• Free screening of the film How to Survive a Plague about the early days of ACT-UP and TAG (Treatment Action Group) at 6pm at the Castro Theater, 429 Castro Street. Advance reserved tickets are sold out but rush tickets will be available at the door starting at 5:30pm.
• Candelight Vigil after the film at Jane Warner Plaza (rain location: Midnight Sun) at 8:30 pm--speakers to include SF Supervisor Scott Weiner and the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.
